Job Title: 3D Rigging Artist (Blender/Maya) Location: Porur Job Type: Full-Time Were now expanding our in-house creative team and are looking for a 3D Character Rigging Artist to join our dynamic studio. You will be a key contributor in bringing life to our digital characters and animated assets, playing a crucial role in elevating our visual production quality. Role Overview As a 3D Character Rigging Artist , you will be responsible for building high-quality, animator-friendly rigs using Blender and Maya . You will work closely with our modelers, texture artists, and animators to ensure smooth deformation and efficient animation-ready rigs, primarily for promotional and brand videos. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain character rigs using Blender and Maya. Implement realistic skinning, weight painting, and facial blend shapes. Collaborate with the modelling and animation teams to ensure seamless character movement. Optimize rig performance while maintaining visual integrity. Troubleshoot rigging-related issues during production cycles. Maintain naming conventions, file structures, and version control within the rigging pipeline. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 1 years of professional experience in 3D character rigging. Strong expertise in both Blender and Autodesk Maya . Proficient in skinning, rig controls, constraint setups, and deformation systems. Understanding of animation principles and animator-friendly rig design. Experience working in collaborative creative environments. A strong portfolio showcasing rigging work (preferably with character-focused examples in Blender and Maya).
