3D QA Artist

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate 3D assets (Modeling + Texturing) for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Understand project requirements, guidelines, and workflows thoroughly.
• Ensure assets align with client expectations before final delivery.
• Provide clear and structured feedback to the production team.
• Collaborate closely with the 3D artists and other departments to ensure smooth communication on required changes.
• Maintain documentation of QA checks and track revisions efficiently.
• Take ownership of the QA pipeline to maintain high production standards.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of 3D Modeling and Texturing workflows.
• Experience with industry-standard tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar.
• Keen eye for detail, scale, topology, UVs, and textures.
• Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into quality benchmarks.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team effectively.
• Problem-solving attitude with responsibility and ownership mindset.
• Prior QA or similar experience in 3D production pipelines is preferred.
