3D Programmer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for adding new core features and implementing new techniques and algorithms to enhance the graphics quality of the game. Your role will involve high- and low-level optimization of rendering code for console platforms, collaborating with team members to determine rendering requirements, and implementing rendering features in the Ubisoft Internal Game Engine. Additionally, you will work within a team to develop high-quality video game software and develop and implement independent Rendering modules. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the implementation of new techniques and algorithms to enhance the graphics quality of the game. - Implement modular, self-contained, and defensive code observing technical constraints. - Stay updated on advances in rendering technology, algorithms, and hardware. - Optimize rendering code for console platforms. - Research new real-time rendering techniques and features. - Collaborate with team members to determine rendering requirements. - Develop and implement independent Rendering modules. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in C, C++, and object-oriented & Data Driven programming. - Strong knowledge of HLSL/CG with experience in OpenGL/DirectX/Vulkan. - Excellent understanding of low-level graphics engine development fundamentals. - Strong analytical and debugging skills, including GPU. - Ability to profile & fix algorithmic performance issues in multi-threaded code. - Knowledge of efficient programming & optimizations (memory, performance). - Familiarity with working on multiple platforms and navigating large code bases. - Ability to translate designs into technical design documents (TDDs) and create stable, high-performance systems.
