3D Modeling Artist

3D Modeling Artists are responsible for creating high-quality hard surface

and soft body 3D models. They work with tools such as Autodesk Maya and Zbrush to design

clean, optimized models with excellent topology, ensuring real-world accuracy and attention

to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities -

1. Proficient in modeling with Autodesk Maya and Zbrush.

2. Create clean and accurate low-poly 3D models with real-world scaling, proper vertex

snapping, logical naming, grouping, and excellent topology.

3. Cleanup and refine raw 3D scans using Zbrush/Mudbox.

4. Perform retopology of cleaned 3D scans to optimize models.

5. Develop high-poly and mid-poly models and create LODs (Level of Detail) within

prescribed poly budgets.

6. Follow design references to create 3D models in various styles, ensuring attention to

detail and alignment with client requirements.

7. Properly layout UVs with uniform texel density to ensure maximum texture detail and

visual quality.

8. Deliver weekly and monthly reports on progress.

9. Collaborate effectively with the designated Design Project Manager.

10. Provide inputs to improve workflow and enhance modeling efficiency

accuracy.

accordingly.

Software Skills Required -

1. Essential: Autodesk Maya, Zbrush

2. Optional: CLO3D, Unity, Unreal
