Job Title: 3D ARTIST Job Summary: As a 3D Artist at Ubisoft, your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality AAA environment assets for our projects. You will develop mood boards, concept boards, and gather references to prepare asset proposals. Working within gameplay and technical constraints, you will collaborate with texture artists, level artists, and level designers to produce exceptional assets. Responsibilities: - Create realistic 3D models and textures, encompassing architecture, organic objects, and props in alignment with artistic direction, production deadlines, and technical specifications. - Sculpt/model UV & texture and integrate high & low polygon meshes in a PBR pipeline. - Ensure the quality of in-game objects, making necessary improvements to align with technical constraints and artistic guidelines. Required Qualifications: - College Diploma/Degree in graphic design, 3D, video game development, or equivalent training. - 3-5 years of experience in the games industry with proficiency in industry 3D packages, preferably 3DSMax & ZBrush. - Previous experience working on published AAA games is a strong advantage. Required Skills: - Expertise in 3DSMax, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. - Proficiency in Photoshop. - Excellent understanding of real-time modeling techniques (shaders, PBR, normal, displacement, etc.). - Strong portfolio showcasing 3D art skills and artistic creativity. - Familiarity with the game development cycle. - Good architectural understanding. Other Skills: - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). - Considerable knowledge of video games and broad video game culture. - Self-motivated and agile.
