About the Role:

2D Rigger

Responsibilities:

• Create production-ready rigs for 2D characters, props, and assets.
• Collaborate with animators and designers to ensure rigs meet creative needs.
• Troubleshoot, refine, and optimize rigs based on animation requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized files and naming conventions.
• Deliver high-quality rigs on time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

  in professional 2D rigging.

• Proficiency in major 2D rigging tools

  , including:

• Spine

  (for game character rigs)

• Toon Boom Harmony

  (for cut-out rigs & advanced deformers)

• Adobe After Effects Puppet Tools & Duik

  (or similar rigging plugins)

• Moho (Anime Studio)

  (optional but valued)

• Live2D Cubism

  (optional, for VTubers & interactive rigs)
• Solid understanding of 2D character structure, deformation, and rigging best practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

• Portfolio/showreel

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

• Character illustration

  (designing or modifying assets for rigging).

• Basic 3D rigging

  knowledge (e.g., Blender, Maya).
• 2D animation skills (basic or intermediate).
• Experience creating rigs for games or interactive applications.
