Job Description

Role Overview: As a 2D Artist at Knack Studios in Chennai, you will be responsible for Roto-Paint-Prep and Compositing tasks. Your role will involve having a general understanding of VFX production and comp workflows, as well as employing techniques related to rotoscopy and plate preparation. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate a good eye for composition, color, and lighting, while utilizing software such as Silhouette, Mocha, Nuke, Photoshop, or Nuke, Digital Fusion for compositing tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct rotoscopy and plate preparation tasks efficiently - Utilize software like Silhouette, Mocha, Nuke, Photoshop for Roto-Paint-Prep - Demonstrate a good eye for composition, color, and lighting in compositing work - Work on stereoscopic projects if required - Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality output - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry design trends - Perform retouch and matte painting duties as necessary - Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines Qualifications Required: - Professional or bachelor's degree in design - 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role - Proficiency with Photoshop (2+ years) - Strong retouch and matte painting skills - Up-to-date knowledge of design trends - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines,
