2D Animator - Toon Boom

As a 2D Digital Animator at Lumicel Animation Studios, you will have the unique opportunity to work on multiple international television series and receive training from animation experts and trainers from Canada and France. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 2-10 years of experience as a 2D animator and/or animation rigger - Holding a Degree/Diploma from a recognized animation school or institute - Demonstrating excellent proficiency in Industry Standard Animation Softwares such as Adobe Flash, Toon Boom Harmony, etc. - Possessing a strong understanding of animation principles like Staging, Exaggeration, Solid Drawing & Appeal, Shape & Form, Line of Action & Silhouette, Action & Reaction, Tension, Beat & Rhythm, Straights & Curves, Volume & Perspective, etc. - Maintaining a strong sense of timing, effective time management skills, and excellent character draftsmanship - Understanding motion, weight, emotion, and acting with a focus on clear storytelling - Meeting production milestones and deadlines while motivating the team to do the same - Organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively - Working well under pressure and meeting production deadlines - Showcasing 2D character animation experience for television or an impressive demo reel - Demonstrating drive, determination, and creative problem-solving skills - Exhibiting a strong work ethic, communication skills, and being an excellent team player We are hiring for multiple positions and experience levels: - Senior-level Animator: Requires at least 6+ years of work experience in producing high-quality animation for Television Animation Series - Mid-level Animator: Requires at least 3-4+ years of work experience in producing high-quality animation for Television Animation Series - Junior Animators: Requires at least 1-2+ years of work experience - Trainee Animators: Looking for individuals with digital drawing skills or artistic talent, as we will provide training to develop you into a world-class animator If you are the ideal candidate, Lumicel Animation Studios offers a competitive salary, challenging animation projects, and growth opportunities within a skilled and highly motivated team.
