2D Animator

As a 2D Animator at DigiDigital Marketing, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging animations for various digital platforms. Collaborating with our creative team, you will be responsible for developing animation concepts that align with client objectives and producing storyboards to outline animation sequences. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing characters and environments that meet project requirements and integrating visual effects and motion graphics into animations. It will be your responsibility to ensure all animations are completed on time while upholding a high standard of quality. You will also have the opportunity to review and enhance existing animation projects, staying updated on the latest animation trends and software updates. Communication with clients to grasp their vision and incorporate feedback will be a key aspect of your role, along with contributing to marketing materials and promotional campaigns. Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and strategies, documenting animation processes, and collaborating with other departments such as marketing and design to ensure project alignment are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, mentoring junior animators, providing constructive feedback, and performing other duties as assigned by management will be expected. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field, along with proven experience as a 2D Animator or in a similar role. Proficiency in Adobe Animate and other animation software is essential, as well as a strong understanding of animation principles and techniques. Your storytelling and visual communication skills, demonstrated through a robust portfolio of previous animation projects, will be vital for success in this role. Experience with character design, background development, and working effectively in a team environment is crucial. Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent problem-solving skills are also required. Knowledge of sound design and integration is a plus, along with strong interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration. A willingness to learn new techniques and continuously improve your skills, along with experience in a marketing or digital media environment, would be advantageous.
