2D animator (After Effects based)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Visual and Motion Designer based in Kolkata. The role involves designing and producing high-quality motion graphics, animation, and video content for various projects. Responsibilities include creating storyboards, conceptualizing and executing visual designs, collaborating with the creative team to develop innovative ideas, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The role will require a blend of creativity and technical expertise to bring unique storytelling to life.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Motion Design, Motion Graphics, and Animation (experience: 1-3 years)
• Proficiency in Video Production and Storyboarding
• Proficient in motion design and animation software pipeline (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools)
• Proficient in character animation using After Effects and its plugins like: Duik, Joy Stick and Slider etc
• Proficient in other After Effects plugins
• Working knowledge of ToonBoom, Procreate, Blender or Cinema 4D is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Relevant education in design, animation, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a creative studio or similar working environment is a plus
