Role Overview We’re looking for a Venue Manager who can take full ownership of client servicing and overall guest experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for all enquiries — from giving venue tours and explaining packages to following up, negotiating, and closing bookings. Beyond sales, you’ll also ensure the on-ground experience runs smoothly — managing the housekeeping and support staff to maintain a clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready venue at all times. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands hospitality, enjoys interacting with clients, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent service. Key Responsibilities Handle all client enquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins. Conduct venue tours and explain packages, facilities, and services clearly. Follow up with leads and close bookings independently. Coordinate with the operations team for event handovers and client requirements. Supervise staff before and during events — ensure clean washrooms, tidy halls, and stocked pantry. Maintain venue readiness and visual appeal at all times. Role Overview We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Event Operations Associate to manage operational excellence and on-ground execution at 20 Downtown. This role is primarily operations-focused, but may also support client interactions, walkthroughs, and coordination when needed — making it a versatile hybrid profile with room to grow. In addition to venue responsibilities, you may also work on event-based projects outside the banquet when required (such as curated experiences, partnered festivals or hospitality-led events), depending on the projects the team is handling at the time.
