Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive chemistry lessons aligned with the curriculum for 11th and 12th. Instructional Strategies: Employ a variety of effective teaching methodologies, including lectures, discussions, demonstrations, laboratory experiments, and technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles. Practical Sessions: Design and conduct practical laboratory sessions, ensuring student safety and promoting hands-on learning and scientific inquiry. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer fair and accurate assessments, including class tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth. Student Support: Provide academic support and guidance to students, addressing their queries, clarifying concepts, and offering remedial assistance when needed. Preparation for Examinations: Prepare students effectively for board examinations and relevant competitive entrance examinations (e.g., NEET, JEE) by providing focused instruction, practice materials, and mock tests. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in chemistry, educational pedagogies, and assessment techniques through continuous professional development. Collaboration: Collaborate with other faculty members, the academic coordinator, and the administration on curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and progress. Parent Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, academic performance, and any concerns. Adherence to Policies: Adhere to the College's policies, rules, and regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Master's degree (M.Sc.) /Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related field is essential. A Ph.D. is desirable. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is strongly preferred. Experience: Proven experience (minimum 1 year) teaching Chemistry to 11th and 12th in a recognized junior college or high school. Experience in preparing students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests is highly advantageous. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of the principles and concepts of chemistry, including organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. Strong understanding of the Curriculum. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning (e.g., learning management systems, online resources, presentation software). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Commitment to student success and holistic development. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
