Job Description

Designation Associate Manager to Sr Manager
Role – Civil Lead – Engineering Projects
Department – Projects
Reporting – Head Projects
Experience – 12 to 15 Years
Qualification – BE/B.Tech – Civil
Role Type – Individual Contributor

Person would be leading all the civil related work and activities.
Executing projects in a time bound manner with various project related activities such as planning, method engineering, contract administration, construction supervision, resource planning and pre-construction activities planning, method engineering, contract administration, construction supervision, resource planning and pre-construction activities.
Good understanding on structural aspects of the civil work.
Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output
Participating in project review meetings for tracking project progress, de-bottlenecking and implementation of Earned Value as per norms and standards
Liaising with external agencies, clients & consultants for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances
Initiating Policy dialogues with statutory and regulatory bodies to understand their needs for civil structure development and assessing their capabilities to fund and support the project implementation
Preparing consolidated weekly and monthly progress reports such as S-curves, manpower histograms, planned versus actual progress, planned versus actual milestone status using Primavera Project Planner (P3) & Microsoft Excel. Good experience in MSP, Revit and related software.
Preparing monthly look ahead schedule for site execution & delay analysis report for management review.
Construction site environment to include Inspection of construction work for compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, Housekeeping, Safety and Quality
Reviews and interprets working drawings to determine if information is adequate for successful completion of construction
Reviews prints as indicated in drawing,changes if required; draw field sketches, as-built drawings
Assists supervisory personnel in phases of construction engineering and installation of materials and equipment
Ensures that coordination from site to office is maintained properly to cover for queues and resource bottlenecks
Maintains records of quantities and construction inspection work
Prepares daily progress reports, periodic photographic progress reports and keeps supervisors informed on progress of assigned tasks
Coordinates with contractor for progress of work. Clears all bills of contractors and prepares material reconciliation report for all materials consumed at site as against theoretical consumption
Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client.
Monitor the progress of work against the planned schedule/ base line schedule in coordination with the construction team
Collect details for monthly valuation, variation claims, invoices etc
Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms
Ensure project documents are complete
