Job Description – Accountant (Pharma Industry) Location: Patna Experience: Minimum 3 years Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We’re looking for a high-caliber Accounting Professional to anchor our finance operations out of Patna. The role demands strong execution discipline, seamless command over Marg ERP , and hands-on expertise in core accounting workflows tailored for a pharma ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end accounting operations: purchase, sales, ledgers, journal entries, credit/debit notes , and monthly financial closures. Oversee GST, GSTR filings, TDS, audit coordination , and ensure statutory compliance without slippage. Maintain batch-wise inventory accounting, expiry and damage tracking, stock reconciliation , and scheme adjustments relevant to pharma workflows. Own daily processes on Marg ERP —billing, stock updates, rate configurations, vendor/customer mapping, and MIS extraction. Execute rigorous bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations with zero tolerance for variance. Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment. Prepare MIS dashboards, P&L summaries, and financial reports to support leadership decision-making. Must-Have Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting; pharma sector exposure is an advantage. Deep working knowledge of Marg ERP / Marg Billing App . Strong command of Tally , Excel, reconciliation protocols, and day-to-day transactional accounting. Solid understanding of pharma accounting nuances —expiry, schemes, free issues, rate differences, and batch management. High attention to detail, structured working style, and proactive communication. Preferred Competencies Ability to perform in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
