Job Description

Conduct Therapeutic Yoga Sessions:
Design and conduct yoga sessions tailored to support patients with anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health concerns.
Individual and Group Sessions:
Facilitate both one-on-one and group classes based on patient needs and clinical recommendations.
Collaboration with Clinical Team:
Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists to integrate yoga as part of holistic treatment plans.
Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques:
Teach breathing exercises, meditation, and relaxation practices to help patients manage emotions and improve focus.
Patient Assessment:
Assess patients physical and mental readiness for yoga practices and modify sessions accordingly.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of patient participation, progress, and feedback; share updates with the clinical team.
Promoting Wellness:
Encourage lifestyle changes, mindfulness, and self-care practices that support long-term mental well-being.
Safety and Comfort:
Ensure sessions are conducted in a safe, non-judgmental environment respecting each patient’s limitations.
Awareness Programs:
Conduct workshops or wellness sessions for staff and caregivers to promote mental health through yoga.
