XM Cloud Back-End Developer

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain server-side components for XM Cloud applications, Implement and manage APIs to support front-end functionality, Optimize application performance, scalability, and security, Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner, Ensure data integrity and consistency across various systems, Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development headless CMS and cloud development, Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, Develop and customize features on Sitecore XM Cloud with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, Perform the migration of existing Sitecore-based applications to XM Cloud, Utilize GraphQL queries for data fetching and integration, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement headless development solutions, Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, Proven experience as a back-end developer, with a strong portfolio of server-side applications, Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling, Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection, Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Good communication and teamwork skills, Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) (3-5) years of hands-on experience, Sitecore XM Cloud development experience 1+ years (Must-have) Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and Sitecores role in it, Proficiency in React or NextJS & TypeScript (Must-have), Proficiency in GraphQL queries for backend comm Good to have experience with working with Sitecore Search, Familiarity with Vercel for deployment and hosting Preferred Qualifications Experience with XM Cloud or similar cloud-based platforms, Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e-g, Docker, Kubernetes), Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks, Understanding of serverless computing and cloud services (e-g, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Experience with GraphQL and other modern data-fetching techniques, Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community, Certification in back-end development or related technologies, AMETEK, Inc is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $70 billion, AMETEK is committed to making a safer, sustainable, and more productive world a reality We use differentiated technology solutions to solve our customersmost complex challenges We employ 21,000 colleagues, in 35 countries, that are grounded by our core values: Ethics and Integrity, Respect for the Individual, Inclusion, Teamwork, and Social Responsibility AMETEK (NYSE:AME) is a component of the S&P 500 Visit ametek for more information,
