An X-Ray Technician is a healthcare professional who is responsible for taking x-ray images of the human body. They evaluate and interpret diagnostic images to detect abnormalities or disease. It is the responsibility of X-Ray Technicians to ensure that the imaging equipment is functioning properly and that the images taken are clear.

• Positioning the patient properly for the examination.
• Adjusting the machine and selecting the proper settings.
• Ensuring that the equipment is being operated safely and accurately.
• Educating the patient regarding the imaging procedure.
• Ensuring that patient information is protected and confidential.
• Ensuring that the films are developed properly and stored correctly.
• Ensuring that equipment is functioning properly.
• Preparing and maintaining patient records.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient information.
• Administering non-intravenous contrast agents according to established protocols.
