Position : X-ray Technician Location : Dr. John Arthur Ortho Hospital, Avadi, Chennai Reports to : Dr. Peter Ponniah Jesudass J, Medical Director About Us : Dr. John Arthur Ortho Hospital, located in Avadi, Chennai, is committed to providing exceptional orthopaedic care and services. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our team and assist in providing accurate diagnostic imaging to our patients. Key Responsibilities : Perform X-ray examinations on patients according to the physician’s instructions. Ensure high-quality and accurate imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly. Operate X-ray machines and other diagnostic equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images and relevant patient data. Adhere to hospital safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines. Maintain and clean radiology equipment as necessary. Assist in patient care and management as directed by medical staff. Follow up with patients and physicians regarding diagnostic results when needed. Required Qualifications : Diploma or Degree in Radiology or relevant field. Certification as an X-ray Technician. Proven experience as an X-ray Technician, preferably in an orthopedic setting. In-depth knowledge of radiology procedures and safety protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
