Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer SMT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SMT processes and a strong background in quality control and assurance in electronics manufacturing. Role & responsibilities: Monitor and ensure the quality of SMT processes and outputs (Solder Paste Printing, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI, SPI). Analyze process defects and coordinate root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct quality audits on SMT lines and support continuous improvement activities. Work closely with production, process, and maintenance teams to ensure product quality. Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution with documentation. Maintain quality records as per ISO/IATF/IPC standards. Develop and maintain quality documentation including work instructions, inspection criteria, and control plans. Provide training and guidance to quality inspectors and line operators. Preferred candidate profile: Strong knowledge of SMT machines and quality tools (AOI, SPI, X-ray, etc.) Experience with 8D, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plan Good understanding of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721) Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 quality systems Proficient in MS Office, SAP/ERP systems (optional) Excellent communication and team management skills. Desired Candidate Profile: Minimum 2 -8 years of experience in SMT Quality in an EMS or Electronics Manufacturing setup. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
