The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting period films or historical dramas based on real-life stories. The Writer will be responsible for developing compelling, emotionally resonant scripts that meet international cinema standards. This role requires both creative depth and technical proficiency in screenwriting. Key Responsibilities: Develop original screenplays for period films and historical dramas based on real-life events. Conduct thorough research to ensure historical accuracy and authenticity in storytelling. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to refine scripts and incorporate feedback. Write compelling dialogue and create we'll-developed characters that resonate with audiences. Adhere to project timelines and deliver scripts on schedule. Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring the final product meets quality standards. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in screenwriting and filmmaking. Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Film, Creative Writing, English, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Must-Have Skills: Proven experience writing screenplays for period films or historical dramas. Excellent research skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of narrative structure, character development, and dialogue. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in screenwriting software (eg, Final Draft, Celtx).
