As a Workshop Manager for Electric Bus Fleet Operations, your primary objective will be to oversee the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of a fleet of electric buses in Chennai. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing fleet maintenance to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. - Overseeing workshop operations to maintain uptime and productivity. - Providing leadership to the team to achieve operational excellence. - Managing assets and inventory effectively. - Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of workshop activities. - Demonstrating the ability to work independently and lead a team effectively. - Coordinating and communicating with various departments to align maintenance activities with business objectives. In addition to the key responsibilities, as a Workshop Manager, you will collaborate with different departments to contribute to strategic planning for workshop operations. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Knowledge of electric vehicles and their components. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Familiarity with fleet management systems (FMS). The qualifications required for this position are a degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering. You should have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
