WordPress PHP Developer

You should have excellent knowledge of WordPress CMS and PHP. Your responsibilities will include WordPress development such as theme and individual template development, plugin tweaks, new feature development, extending, managing, improvements to and debugging of legacy code, setup of WordPress options, plugin installation, and configuration. You should also have experience in PHP and HTML development outside of WordPress for landing pages, microsites, etc. Additionally, basic database admin skills (MySQL) via PHPMyAdmin are required, with a good working knowledge of common SQL commands and their correct use. You will be responsible for the development of multiple server configurations including development, staging, and production servers, incorporating all necessary HTML and CSS into WordPress themes, templates, and additional PHP and HTML pages. Project management, documentation of work for end users, and proper organization of code for team collaboration are also crucial aspects of the role. The desired candidate should have a profile of education including a degree in B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers, BCA - Computers (UG) and M.Tech - Computers, MCA - Computers (PG). Expert knowledge of WordPress in terms of plugin/theme development and API, strong PHP development skills, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS skills are essential. Good working experience in MySQL, strong experience building HTML/CSS across major browsers, experience with XML, and modern source control tools like Git and Beanstalk are desired qualifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, strong organizational skills, structured thinking, and development methodology, detail-oriented approach, ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team, adherence to deadlines, clear communication, and the possibility to attend one conference annually located off-site are also expected from the candidate.,
