Wordpress Developer

Times Network is hiring for WordPress Developer position for their Noida office.

Min. exp: 3-6 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance custom WordPress themes and plugins using Core PHP.
• Work with MySQL databases for designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance.
• Perform Linux server tasks including deployments, cron jobs, SSL setup, Apache/Nginx configuration, and log analysis.
• Optimize website speed and performance using caching, CDN, database tuning, and best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex site issues across staging and production environments.
• Ensure cross-browser, responsive designs.
• Maintain version control using Git and follow CI/CD practices.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers and frontend developers for seamless integration.
• Implement secure coding practices and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in

  WordPress architecture

  , plugin/theme development, and WP-CLI.

• Core PHP

  (OOP, procedural, and MVC patterns), Symfony and Laravel.
• Deep knowledge of

  MySQL

  indexing, optimization, replication handling, etc.
• Proficiency with

  Linux CLI

  (Ubuntu/CentOS), shell scripting, cron jobs.
• Experience with

  Apache/Nginx

  , PHP-FPM, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with

  WooCommerce

  , ACF, Elementor, WPML is a plus.
• Understanding of

  REST APIs

  , AJAX, and third-party integrations.
• Git version control and branching workflows.
