Main Responsibilities & Goals

• Design, develop, and maintain websites using the WordPress platform.
• Customise and implement WordPress themes and plugins to meet business needs.
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver functional and visually appealing websites.
• Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and cross-device compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Stay current with WordPress updates, best practices, and emerging web technologies.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress CMS.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with MySQL or similar databases.
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to use version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio of WordPress projects or demonstrable work experience.

Formal education is not mandatory; we value practical skills, experience, and a passion for web development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with e-commerce plugins (e.g., WooCommerce).
