About the Role: We seek a highly skilled, self-motivated WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience to manage the full project lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance. You will design, develop, and optimize custom WordPress websites while ensuring top-tier performance, security, and SEO standards. Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Build responsive WordPress websites using custom themes/plugins from scratch, adhering to UI/UX designs (Figma, Photoshop, etc.) provided by our design team. Plugin Management: Install, configure, and customize plugins to align with business requirements. Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are fast, secure, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized (e.g., Google PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals). Content Enhancement: Optimize and improve website content as needed. Maintenance: Conduct regular updates, backups, bug fixes, security audits, and SEO checks. Innovation: Stay updated on WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to implement cutting-edge solutions. Must-Have Skills: 3+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience. Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL . Proven ability to create custom themes/plugins and modify existing ones. Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards. Experience optimizing websites for speed, security, and SEO. Proficiency in translating Figma/Photoshop designs into functional WordPress sites. Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end projects. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with headless WordPress or JAMstack architectures. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions). Experience in Agile environments and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Slack). SEO expertise (metadata, schema markup) and analytics tools (Google Search Console).
