Wordpress Developer - Project Manager

As a Project Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing projects, collaborating with the team, and delivering client expectations within the timeline while maintaining quality. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing requirements, preparing queries & time estimation - Collaborating with the team for new requirements and aligning project timelines - Checking the output against requirements before delivery - Implementing new features, bug fixes, and improvements in our codebase - Planning tasks, assigning them, and providing everyday updates - Training new team members - Communicating with clients, providing updates, and offering training support To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Extensive experience in WordPress plugin and theme building & customization - Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development, including Classic and Block themes - Familiarity with the Gutenberg ecosystem & block themes - Strong knowledge of HTML, SCSS, PHP, and JavaScript - Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) - Detail-oriented approach to requirements - Experience working closely with clients - Proficiency with popular plugins and tools like ACF, Yoast, RankMath, etc. - Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, BitBucket, and GitLab - Expertise in WordPress site speed optimization and security measures Nice-to-have skills include experience in ReactJS, working with Shopify, handling large-scale projects, experience with cloud hosting, WordPress site profiling for performance optimization, code-sniffer testing, and contributing to WordPress development. To be eligible for this position, you should have: - Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a WordPress developer - Working experience with WooCommerce on at least 2-3 sites - Previous experience in a Project Manager role for at least a year,
