WordPress Developer Intern

As a WordPress Developer, your role involves designing and building the front-end and back-end of websites using WordPress. You will be responsible for developing and implementing website architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Additionally, you will create and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing and building the front-end of websites using WordPress - Developing and implementing website architecture for optimal performance - Managing the back-end of websites, including database integration and server configuration - Creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins - Conducting performance testing to ensure website efficiency and speed - Troubleshooting and resolving content-related issues promptly - Providing training to clients on managing and updating their WordPress sites - Monitoring live website performance and enhancing user experience To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field - Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of successful projects - Proficiency in front-end technologies such as CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery - Experience with code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, and SVN - Familiarity with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug - Strong understanding of website architecture and design principles - Excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers some benefits including commuter assistance, paid sick time, and Saturday-Sunday off.
