Wordpress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites from scratch or using
• themes and plugins.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet business and UI/UX requirements.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Work with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and backend developers.
• Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and payment gateways as needed.
• Stay up to date with WordPress updates, best practices, and web trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in WordPress development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.

• Familiarity with WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and other common plugins.

• Experience with custom theme/plugin development is a plus.

• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Basic knowledge of hosting environments, cPanel, and domain management.

• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Git, Figma, or Adobe XD.

• Experience with SEO and performance optimization tools like GTmetrix, Lighthouse.

• Experience working in an agency or with multiple projects/clients.
