As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing websites according to project requirements. Your role will involve creating mockups for client presentations and selecting appropriate WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing WordPress theme customizations for both new projects and existing client sites. Your responsibilities will include customizing WordPress functions, implementing custom fields, and creating proprietary plugins for client-specific applications. Optimizing website performance and implementing security measures will also be key aspects of your role. You will collaborate with our team to update and modify existing WordPress themes, and provide valuable input to enhance site architecture, layout, and content. Furthermore, your duties will involve optimizing websites for increased opt-ins, improved search rankings, and enhanced user engagement and retention. You will conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility. Regular interaction with clients for requirement gathering and coordination will also be part of your job. In addition, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionalities, ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the content management system (CMS).
