Job Description

Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and optimize WLAN firmware and driver components based on IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax). • Develop and maintain wireless connectivity stacks and protocol layers (MAC, PHY). • Work with hardware and software teams to integrate WLAN solutions into embedded systems or mobile platforms (e.g., Android/Linux). • Analyze and resolve wireless performance issues, latency problems, and interference. • Support test and validation efforts using tools like Wireshark, protocol analyzers, and signal generators. • Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting of wireless communication issues in complex environments. • Keep up to date with evolving WLAN technologies, standards, and regulatory compliance. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. • Strong programming skills in C/C++. • Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, device driver development, and networking subsystems. • Knowledge of wireless standards including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax. • Familiarity with Hostapd, wpa_supplicant, or similar open-source Wi-Fi stacks. • Proficiency in using wireless debugging and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Omnipeek). • Understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
