WLAN /Networking - Product Development Lead

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be involved in strong technology focus and experience in networking technology areas including WLAN, Ethernet, Bridging, and Routing. You will need a strong understanding of software architecture and real-time embedded system design with Linux Operating System. Your responsibilities will include ownership of commercialization of the key Wi-Fi access point product, acting as the technical product owner of the releases to drive all technology areas for delivering world-class AP and Wi-Fi Routers. You will also be the primary technology and commercialization interface with product management and engineering teams, with end-to-end ownership to drive programs from start to post-launch in the field. Key Responsibilities: - Own commercialization of the key Wi-Fi access point product - Act as the technical product owner of the releases for driving technology areas - Interface with product management and engineering teams for technology and commercialization - Drive programs from start to post-launch in the field Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - 3+ years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Minimum 13 years in Software Engineering life cycle - Minimum 13 years in Software engineering roles covering development and testing Please note that Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
