Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer – Machine Vision & RFID Applications Location: PUNE Experience Required: 5–6 Years Job Type: Full-Time Department: Pre-Sales Reports To: Head – Sales & Solutions ⸻ Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Pre-Sales Engineer with hands-on experience in Machine Vision Systems and RFID Applications. The candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between client requirements and internal product/solution capabilities by actively participating in solution design, on-site demonstrations, POCs, and UAT activities. The role also involves creating detailed documentation and providing critical support to the sales and technical teams. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Engage with potential customers to understand their application requirements related to machine vision systems and RFID solutions. • Prepare and present technical proposals, solution architecture, and product demonstrations. • Conduct on-site Proof of Concept (POC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) at client locations. • Develop detailed functional documents, BOQs, SOWs, and system specifications for proposed solutions. • Collaborate with internal R&D, product, and software teams to design customized solutions. • Assist the sales team during client meetings, providing technical insights and ensuring solution feasibility. • Provide technical training to the internal sales team and clients as required. • Maintain strong communication and coordination with project execution and post-sales support teams. • Stay updated on emerging technologies and innovations in machine vision and RFID. ⸻ Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. • 5–6 years of hands-on experience in pre-sales or solution engineering roles involving machine vision systems and RFID technologies. • Proven experience in conducting POC/UATs and client site visits. • Strong understanding of industrial automation, image processing, camera systems, RFID readers/tags, and industrial protocols (MODBUS, TCP/IP, etc.). • Ability to create technical documentation such as system architecture, BOMs, technical datasheets, and project proposals. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to travel to customer sites as required. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): • Knowledge of Python/OpenCV, PLC. • Experience with barcode/QR code systems, OCR/OCV applications. • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IoT, and edge computing.
