Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Furniture Designer to lead the conceptualization and development of high-end, custom furniture pieces. The ideal candidate is a passionate design thinker with a strong understanding of luxury materials, joinery techniques, and modern and classical furniture aesthetics. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of custom furniture pieces from concept to execution. Collaborate closely with the Interior Architecture team to ensure alignment with project themes and spatial requirements. Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renders, and technical specifications using tools like AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, or similar. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for luxury furniture. Liaise with production teams to ensure design feasibility and oversee prototyping and manufacturing processes. Present concepts and final designs to clients and internal stakeholders. Stay updated on global trends in luxury furniture, materials, and innovation. Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of creativity and excellence. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field. 6–10 years of professional experience in high-end furniture design. Strong portfolio showcasing custom/luxury furniture designs. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Suite). Excellent understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and joinery. Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualities Experience working with interior design or architecture studios. Knowledge of sustainability and innovative furniture technologies.
