Intermediate Associate Design

Purpose: To execute comprehensive interior design projects under senior guidance while developing independent capabilities in client interaction, technical design, and creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute design development phases including space planning, furniture design, material selection, and technical documentation under seniors’ supervision
2. Assist in mood board creation, design presentations, and articulation of design concepts while building independent creative capabilities
3. Handle routine client interactions, coordinate design meetings, and support client communication under senior guidance
4. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, 3D visualizations, and material schedules ensuring accuracy and completeness
5. Conduct design research, trend analysis, and material sourcing to support creative development and innovation
6. Ensure design deliverables meet WITHIN's quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
7. Work effectively with junior associates and interns while supporting senior team members in project delivery
8. Follow design SOPs rigorously and contribute to process optimization initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in interior design projects with exposure to luxury markets
• Demonstrated competency in design software and technical drawing
• Strong portfolio showing creative potential and technical skills

Experience & Exposure

• Solid experience in contemporary interior design practices and trends
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools)
• Exposure to high-end residential or commercial projects
• Understanding of custom furniture design and production processes
• Knowledge of premium materials, finishes, and suppliers

1. Revision rate on technical drawings and specifications
2. Successfully support 2-3 concurrent projects with timely deliverable completion
3. Complete assigned skill development programs and training
4. Maintain positive client feedback scores for routine interactions
