You will be joining Spectrum Electrical Industries Limited as a Product Design Engineer, responsible for designing and optimizing electrical switchgear products to meet customer and manufacturing requirements. Your role will involve creating 2D and 3D models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing quality assurance plans, managing product designs, prototypes, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include creating innovative product solutions, conducting design feasibility studies, collaborating with manufacturing teams, coordinating with procurement and vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. You will also be involved in preparing design documentation, managing the product lifecycle, participating in design reviews, and staying updated on emerging trends in product design and manufacturing. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 2-7 years of experience in electrical product design. You should possess technical skills in product application knowledge for wiring devices and components like MCB, RCCB, RCBO, MCCB, proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of simulation tools, and familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, stamping, fabrication, powder coating, and assembly. Overall, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of electrical switchgear products, ensuring their reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety through your expertise in product design and engineering.,
