Description
Windows Server Management: Design, implement, and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) in both on-premises and cloud infrastructures. Virtualization & Cloud Platforms: Deploy and administer virtualized environments using VMware , Hyper-V , and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP). Active Directory & Certificate Management: Maintain and support Active Directory , Group Policies , DNS , DHCP , and Certificate Management . Patch Management: Manage patching, security updates, and compliance using standard patch management tools. Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using PowerShell , Python , Terraform , or Ansible to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual efforts. Cisco UCS Management: Support and administer Cisco UCS B & C class servers, including firmware updates and troubleshooting hardware issues. Storage & Backup: Provide expertise in Storage (SAN/NAS) and Backup solutions , ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness. Cloud Infrastructure: Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure , AWS , and GCP , leveraging best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of critical BFSI applications. Incident Resolution: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident resolution for server, storage, and backup issues. Documentation & SOPs: Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for system administration. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Wintel Engineer or similar role in the BFSI domain. Windows Server Administration: Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Virtualization Expertise: Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere , Hyper-V , and cloud-based virtualization. Active Directory & Security: Experience with Active Directory , LDAP , Certificate Management , and authentication mechanisms. Patch Management: Hands-on experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation . Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell , Python , Terraform , or Ansible . Cisco UCS Hardware: Expertise in managing Cisco UCS B & C class hardware. Storage & Backup: Strong understanding of enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam , NetBackup , Commvault , Rubrik ). Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure , AWS , GCP , and cloud migration strategies. Linux Administration: Basic to advanced Linux administration skills for hybrid Windows-Linux environments. Business Continuity: Experience with high-availability , disaster recovery , and business continuity planning . Security & Compliance: Knowledge of IT security policies , compliance standards , and BFSI regulatory requirements . Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving , analytical , and troubleshooting skills . Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certifications: MCSE , VCP , AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Solutions Architect , Cisco UCS Certified , Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) , or Terraform/Ansible certifications . High-Availability & DR Solutions: Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for Windows , VMware , and Cloud environments .
