Job Description

As a Windows System Administrator at UST, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the Windows server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems and related services. You will also be tasked with monitoring server performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing server resources. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues will be part of your daily routine, along with applying and managing operating system and application patches. In this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of managing Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and policies. Experience with Group Policy management, networking concepts and protocols, storage technologies, and scripting languages for automation will be essential. Additionally, knowledge of security best practices and industry standards will be required to implement and maintain security measures to protect the server environment from threats. You should have a minimum of one year of hands-on working experience in On-premises Data Centers and be proficient in script writing for automation. Familiarity with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) is preferred. Diagnosing technical issues related to OS, Network, and DB will also be part of your responsibilities.
