Job Description

Role: Application Support Lead (Officer)

Experience:

Minimum10 years of IT experience, with proven expertise in supporting applications withinWindows-based SaaS production environments. Must includeat least 1 year of client-facing experience. Strong programming/scripting skills are essential.

Professional Background:

  • Hands-on experience supporting applications inmulti-tenant SaaS production environments.
  • Deep understanding ofWindows infrastructure and IT operations.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Application Support: Advanced proficiency in managing and troubleshooting applications on the Windows platform.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong grasp ofWindows Active Directory,Domain Services, andWindows Security protocols.
  • Scripting & Automation:
    • Proficient inPowerShellandBatch scripting.
    • Capable of automating processes and developingone-click onboarding solutions.
  • Deployment & Monitoring:
    • Experience deploying applications in production environments.
    • Skilled in setting up and monitoringbatch jobs, with customization via scripting.
    • Familiarity with job scheduling tools (any scheduler).
  • Database Skills: Working knowledge ofMS SQL ServerandOracle.
  • Issue Resolution: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve client issues in production.
  • Cloud Experience: Exposure tocloud migrationprojects is preferred.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity withSplunk,Dynatrace, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner with a proactive approach to new technologies.
  • Work Flexibility: Willingness to work inrotational shifts.
  • Communication & Leadership:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability tolead teamsand collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provideproduction supportand client issue resolution.
  • Deploy applications using bothmanual and automatedmethods across environments.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deliver hardware/software environments.
  • Monitor and maintain production applications and environments.
  • Document and updateinstallation and operational procedures.
  • Participate indeployment and configuration managementactivities.
  • Automate repetitive tasks usingPowerShell scripting.
  • Supportlegacy-to-cloud application migrationefforts.
  • Assist inaudit processesrelated to user and access management, and security compliance.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree inComputer Science,Engineering, orInformation Technology.
  • Cloud certifications(e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) are a plus.
