Windows Application Developer

As a Software Applications Engineer at Qualcomm, your primary responsibility will be to support customers in successfully bringing up their applications on the Windows OS platform and resolving any issues they encounter. In addition, you will be involved in porting/enhancing applications for Snapdragon applications. Your role will require interaction with various internal teams, representing Qualcomm in external forums, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills are essential. You should be hands-on, proactive in research, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. A solid understanding of Windows OS internals and experience with open-source projects will be beneficial for your day-to-day tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Support customers in bringing up their applications on Windows OS platform - Resolve reported issues during the process - Port/enhance applications for Snapdragon platform - Interact with internal teams and represent Qualcomm externally - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Conduct independent research and troubleshooting - Utilize knowledge of Windows OS internals and open-source projects for daily activities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 1+ year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer that provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application and hiring process.
