Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Windows Administrator

to manage, maintain, and automate Windows-based server environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in

Windows Server administration

,

scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

, and system automation. The role involves supporting enterprise-level infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring security and uptime of all systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and IIS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, logs, and connectivity issues.
• Implement and manage user access controls, permissions, and security policies.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripts.
• Manage patching, updates, and system backups to ensure system integrity.
• Work with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support and maintain Windows-based applications and services.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and audit requirements.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical systems (as required).
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 37 years of hands-on experience as a Windows System Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
• Working knowledge of Python and Bash scripting for cross-platform automation.
• Experience managing file systems, network shares, and print servers.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or SCOM).
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with patch management, system hardening, and security best practices.
