As a Lead Engineer / Engineer - LOADS in the Wind Turbine Loads, Controls and Operability team at Bangalore, your role is crucial in leading the technical interface with various departments for the ITO life cycle on Wind Turbine proposals. Your responsibilities include: - Serving Sales & Commercial Operation teams by providing Wind Turbine Micro-siting and Wind Farm risk assessment using your expertise in Turbine Loads, Controls, and operability - Collaborating with Wind Resource Assessment Engineers to assess site wind conditions and determine turbine suitability solutions - Developing a deep understanding of component capabilities by working closely with component designers and executing component analysis methodologies - Gaining holistic knowledge of Wind turbine products offered to assist in customer requirements due diligence - Working with tool development engineers and third parties to automate and simplify Mechanical Loads Analysis tools and processes to enhance MLA strategies Your skills and experience should include: - Industry experience in Power/Energy sector - Proficiency in Wind Turbine Micro-siting, Wind Farm risk assessment, Turbine Loads, Controls and operability expertise - Familiarity with software tools such as FLEX5, ADAMS, ABAQUS, MATLAB for Mechanical Loads Analysis in Wind Turbine applications Your educational background should be a B.E/B.Tech in a relevant field. In this role, you will be contributing to maximizing power production through layout optimization and load mitigation strategies, ensuring turbine suitability for various site conditions.
