As the Lead Engineer / Engineer - LOADS at our company, you will play a crucial role in the Wind Turbine proposals" Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) life cycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the technical interface with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Sales, Requisition Engineering, and Project Management - Overseeing Application Engineers in performing Mechanical Loads Analysis, approving bid schedules, and tracking proposals to completion - Devising micro-siting layout optimization strategies to maximize power production and enable turbine suitability for site conditions In addition to the above, you will also: - Support Sales & Commercial Operation teams by providing Wind Turbine Micro-siting and Wind Farm risk assessment expertise - Collaborate with Wind Resource Assessment Engineers to ensure turbine suitability based on site wind conditions - Develop a thorough understanding of component capabilities and contribute to due diligence efforts for customer requirements - Work on automating and simplifying Mechanical Loads Analysis (MLA) tools and processes with tool development engineers and third parties Key Skills required for this role include Wind Turbine Micro-siting, Wind Farm risk assessment, Turbine Loads, Controls and operability expertise, experience with tools like FLEX5, ADAMS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Mechanical Loads Analysis, and Wind Turbine knowledge. Your educational background should be B.E/B.Tech in the relevant field.
