The role aims to prepare test cases and conduct testing of the product/platform/solution prior to deployment at a client's end, ensuring adherence to 100% quality assurance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding and designing test requirements and test cases for the product - Creating test plans aligned with business requirements and testable criteria - Implementing Wipro's testing methodology using Model based testing for efficient test case generation - Collaborating with the development team to identify and document test cases, ensuring version control - Defining criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope of testing, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Automating the test life cycle process through vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Building and executing the automation framework along with reporting - Developing and automating tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases - Ensuring timely reporting of test defects as per project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Identifying and reporting bug issues, preparing defect reports, and monitoring test progress - Delivering work items within the defined SLA's and norms - Generating test status dashboards at the end of each test execution cycle for stakeholders - Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, tracking results to quality risk, and reporting to relevant stakeholders Status Reporting and Customer Focus: - Maintaining ongoing communication with customers regarding testing and execution progress - Ensuring quality interactions with customers through email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette - Timely delivery of reports, test execution status, and dashboard updates - Accurate updates in project-related trackers such as eCube and TMS - Prompt response to customer requests and addressing any complaints internally or externally Performance Parameters: 1. Understanding test requirements and test case design - Error-free testing solutions, minimal process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, number of automations using VB macros 2.
