Job Description: Position Overview The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods required by the organization. The role involves supporting day-to-day business operations including sales tracking, margin analysis, and inventory management. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of business concepts and a willingness to learn and grow. Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve cost savings. Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store/warehouse team. Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships. Track procurement KPIs (cost, quality, lead time, compliance). Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards. Conduct market research to identify new and alternative suppliers. Resolve procurement-related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality discrepancies. Collaborate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management (fresher with internship experience can also apply, if applicable).
