Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Welder

Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Select the correct welding tools, electrodes, and materials
Perform welding using methods such as arc, MIG, TIG, or gas welding
Ensure strong, clean, and accurate welds
Inspect welded joints for defects or weaknesses
Maintain and clean welding equipment
Follow safety rules and wear protective gear
Repair damaged metal parts and structures
Work according to quality standards and deadlines

Key Responsibilities of a Fitter

Read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
Align and fit components correctly before welding or fastening
Use hand tools and machines such as grinders, drills, and cutters
Check dimensions using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers)
Ensure parts fit properly and function as required
Assist welders during assembly and positioning
Maintain tools and keep the workplace organized
Follow workplace safety procedures

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
