Job Title: Welder / Welding Person

Education & Qualification

• Basic education (e.g., ITI/Diploma in welding/trade or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Certification in welding (if available) will be a plus.

Experience

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a production or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and welding symbols to understand job requirements and specifications.
• Prepare, align and clamp components for welding as per layout or work order instructions.
• Operate welding equipment to join metal parts and structures, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect the finished welds for defects (e.g., porosity, undercut, incomplete fusion) and ensure welds meet required standards and workmanship.
• Flexibility to work overtime or on shifts when required and adapt to changing workloads.
