Job Description

Read blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams to determine welding requirements. Set up welding equipment , including wire feeders, gas tanks, and safety gear. Perform MIG welding operations on various types of metals (e.g., steel, aluminum). Measure and inspect materials before and after welding to ensure accuracy and quality. Ensure proper weld bead alignment and penetration according to welding codes and standards. Operate tools such as grinders, cutters, and torches to prep and finish welds. Conduct routine maintenance of welding equipment and report malfunctions. Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with fabricators, supervisors, and engineers to complete projects on time. Document work completed and maintain records of materials used and time taken.
