Job Description

Role Overview: As a Welder at our company, you will be responsible for performing skilled welding and metal work tasks. Your main duties will involve fabricating, altering, reconditioning, repairing, and maintaining metallic parts and equipment under the supervision of a technical supervisor. Your work will be reviewed for quality and accuracy both during the process and upon completion. Key Responsibilities: - Perform skilled welding and metalworking tasks - Fabricate, alter, recondition, repair, and maintain metallic parts and equipment - Work under the supervision of a technical supervisor - Ensure quality and accuracy of work through observation and inspection Qualifications Required: For Welder I: - High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate - Three (3) years of welding experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience - Florida Class "E" Driver's License required - Formal or on-the-job training in Mild Steel, Welder Helper (300 hours), and Shielded Metal Arc (300 hours) - Must have a home phone or cell phone - Some positions may require passing an annual respirator physical For Welder II: - High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate - Six (6) years of advanced welding experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience - Certification by recognized welding organizations - Florida Class B CDL with Air Brakes endorsement required - Formal or on-the-job training in various welding techniques - Must have a home phone or cell phone - Some supervisory experience desired - Some positions may require passing an annual respirator physical Additional Company Details: - Fleet Management: Valid Florida Class B CDL with Air Brakes required - Wastewater: Must possess certification for confined space entry and respirator use Please ensure you meet the minimum qualifications listed in the position description to be eligible to proceed in the application process.
