Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Weld Shop position located in Nainital. The role involves performing welding tasks efficiently and effectively, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining the quality of work. Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, assembling metal components, ensuring the accuracy of welds, performing safety checks on tools, and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area. The Weld Shop employee will also collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and ensure quality standards are met consistently.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
  • Hands-on experience in operating welding equipment, tools, and machinery with precision.
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols, workplace safety practices, and quality control standards related to welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced production environment and lift heavy materials as necessary.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous.
  • Vocational training or certification in welding or a relevant field is preferred.
