Weld Quality Development

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Diploma and have a minimum of 4 to 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. Your main responsibilities will include the development of Body Accuracy & White Body, as well as the inspection of Sheet metal Parts involving both Press & Weld processes. It is essential that you have experience in BIW production processes and actively participate in BIW Proto Trials for Accuracy Maturation, Defects Analysis, and countermeasure implementation. Additionally, you will be involved in Closure Accuracy Maturation and Press & Roller Hemming accuracy maturation. In terms of technical skills, you should have knowledge about the New Model Quality Maturation Plan & BIW Weld Process. Familiarity with FARO/Portable Scanning, CMM Inspection, ATOS Scanning, and various Alignment methods used for inspection is required. You should also possess knowledge about Closure Quality Maturation processes, assembly-related issues reported for closures & White Body, as well as Jig Planning Sheet & Basic concepts like Datum Pin, Datum Mylar, etc. Furthermore, you will be responsible for Quality Maturation Plan/Process, which involves activities at various stages of Development such as Production Proto, Mass Production Proto. You will also need to implement Corrective & Preventive Countermeasures for defects & Management effectively.
